Lifted by Abhinav Kashyap and production Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan and Dhilin Mehta, the film features Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha as the leading pair.
"Dabangg film was Arbaaz's - Salman When TOI caught up with Salman Khan and asked him whether he will receive the award for "Dabangg, the actor smiled and said that his brother and producer of the film Arbaaz Khan will receive the award.
In a frank interview with TOI, Salman said: "Arbaaz will collect it, all dressed in Sherwani, I think I was the only actor in the movie. It was a film Arbaaz all the way and I feel happy that people liked and respected Dabangg.
"I feel very happy for Arbaaz too, as we now have this national award. But even before this award, we were rewarded with all the people on the BO. It fills me with gratitude."
